Data acquisition for the Galathea 3 Expedition
The MacArtney Group has been chosen as systems supplier to the highprofile Galathea 3 Expedition funded by the Danish Expedition Foundation.
One of the Danish Navy's largest vessels, Vædderen, has been transformed into one of the world's best equipped oceanographic research vessels and will act as base for the eight-month expedition, which commenced in August 2006. The expedition will take Danish and international scientists and researchers on a voyage circumnavigating the globe.
