MacArtney Singapore opens advanced fibre optics workshop
MacArtney is delighted to announce the addition of a modern and fully equipped fibre optics workshop in Singapore. The purpose of the facility, which was officially inaugurated in the beginning of October 2014, is to provide excellent service with fast delivery times on fibre optic connectivity solutions to all customers in Asia Pacific.
The new MacArtney Singapore fibre optics workshop is fully capable of producing and supplying MacArtney OptoLink fibre optic connectors. The workshop is equipped with the latest tools and equipment needed for fibre optic installation, service, testing and repair

The new service facility is fully capable of producing and supplying MacArtney OptoLink fibre optic connectors. The workshop is equipped with the latest tools and equipment needed for fibre optic installation, service, testing and repair. All fibre optics technicians employed with MacArtney Singapore are highly experienced, fully trained and hold the necessary certificates to conduct authorised offshore and on-site service on board ships and platforms. Overall, this provides great flexibility, efficiency and value to MacArtney customers.
World class service for the Asia Pacific region
During its short time in operation, the fibre optic workshop has experienced tremendous success with the services offered, and MacArtney Singapore has already manufactured and delivered OptoLink connectivity solutions to both Australia and China.
The new facility will provide fibre optics users in the whole region with short lead times and better local service without the constrictions of time zone differences. “It is our goal to always deliver within 3-4 weeks and if necessary, possibly even faster” says MacArtney Singapore managing Director, Steen Frejo and continues: “The purpose of the new workshop is to provide service to our local, as well as our global customers operating in the Asia Pacific region”.
