Teledyne Valeport offers a range of instruments, including short-range Bluetooth modules, medium-range VHF/UHF radio modules, and range-independent GSM/GPRS modules. These can be housed in rugged housings for shore-based communications or mounted on buoys or platforms for offshore installations.

For storage and publishing your data, Teledyne Valeport recommends Port-Log from OceanWise, a UK-based independent company specialising in marine environmental data acquisition, management, publishing, and GIS. You can view an example of this service in use from our own Dart Network, which employs numerous tide gauges and meteorological sensors at three sites on the River Dart.
