Welding

Traditionally all our welding has been and still is performed in-house. Hereunder weldings accompanied by high demands delivering according to standards like ABS and DNV.

It requires processes and certificates for all the different materials and sizes, including NDT (Nondestructive testing) and third-party testing.

With the many hours used in welding, we have gone toward more automated robots, consequently achieving time reductions up to 60 – 75%.

Increasing the number of orders involving the equipment raises the throughput on both cylinders and specific welding tasks accordingly.

The first robot was acquired more than 20 years ago, and the latest in 2021. The latter with the ability to weld items of +3 meters in diameter.

We are glad to have made yet another step into automation.
