Customer developing highly innovative and specialised machines for drilling.

Task

The customer has a rough design for a “Chuck Cylinder” that entails the function they need. 

• Gripping a drill 
• Turning the drill

The task and environment are rugged and significant wear expected. 

The product needs further development and production preparation. 

Solution

The result is an enhanced solution with a very sturdy solution for gripping.

The grip is much harder than expected, and the drilling function can be taken a step further.

• Better than expected grip
• Drilling function
• Much lower wear 
• Reduced need for spare parts

Prototypes in different sizes are produced and delivered to test and complete the machine.
